From July 30th to August 1st 2026, the 20th World Turbojugend Days (WTJD) will take place in Hamburg.

The festival, which has developed into the most important annual gathering of the international Turbojugend community, is completely sold out. For the twentieth time, fans from around the world will transform Hamburg's St. Pauli district into a stronghold of punk and rock culture. The program includes concerts at iconic venues such as Molotow and Docks, featuring headliner Turbonegro, as well as exclusive side shows at the St. Pauli Fan Shop and a “Turbocruise” on the River Elbe.

“The fact that, after 20 years, we are still attracting an international audience to Hamburg and that the festival is completely sold out demonstrates the enduring vitality of this subculture,” said Turbojugend St. Pauli e.V.

The WTJD are not merely a concert series but rather a unique blend of festival, fan convention, and cultural exchange.

In addition to established acts such as The Good The Bad and The Zugly, LÜT, and The Meffs, the lineup also provides a platform for numerous local bands. The organizers emphasize the event’s growing significance as a permanent fixture on the European summer rock music calendar.

Vom 30. Juli bis 1. August 2026 finden die 20. Weltturbojugendtage (WTJT) in Hamburg statt.

Das Festival, das sich zum wichtigsten jährlichen Treffpunkt der internationalen Turbojugend-Szene entwickelt hat, ist vollständig ausverkauft. Bereits zum zwanzigsten Mal verwandeln Fans aus aller Welt den Hamburger Stadtteil St. Pauli in eine Hochburg der Punk- und Rockkultur. Das Programm umfasst Konzerte in klassischen Spielstätten wie dem Molotow und den Docks – unter anderem mit Headliner Turbonegro – sowie exklusive Side-Shows im St. Pauli Fanshop und eine „Turbocruise“ auf der Elbe.

„Dass wir nach 20 Jahren immer noch ein internationales Publikum nach Hamburg locken und das Festival restlos ausverkauft ist, zeigt die ungebrochene Vitalität dieser Subkultur“, so der Turbojugend St. Pauli e.V. 

Die WTJT verstehen sich dabei nicht nur als Konzertreihe, sondern als eine Mischung aus Festival, Fan-Convention und kulturellem Austausch.

Neben etablierten Acts wie The Good The Bad and The Zugly, LÜT oder The Meffs bietet das Line-up auch zahlreichen lokalen Bands eine Bühne. Die Organisation betont den gewachsenen Stellenwert des Events als fester Termin im europäischen Sommerkalender für Rockmusik.
